Uma confusão envolvendo Uriah Hall, lutador do UFC e finalista do TUF 17 - apelidado de "Homem-Ambulância" por ter mandado quatro adversários para o hospital durante o reality show - e o ex-integrante do UFC Jason Miller pode ter sido motivada por ofensas racistas proferidas por Miller contra Hall. Segundo o site "Clinch Report", Miller e Hall estariam em um evento na Califórnia e, enquanto conversavam separadamente com jornalistas esperando uma sessão de fotos, Miller iniciou uma discussão e, quando algumas pessoas se puseram entre os dois, o ex-lutador do UFC passou a insultar Hall com xingamentos de conteúdo racista. Hall teria reagido após ser xingado sete vezes, e criou-se uma grande confusão ao redor dos lutadores. Muitos seguranças foram necessários para separá-los, e Hall teria sido levado para longe do local visivelmente alterado.

Segundo depoimentos de pessoas que estavam no local, Hall teria acertado um soco em Miller, que mesmo não tendo pegado em cheio no ex-lutador do UFC, foi suficiente para ferir o seu rosto. Ainda não se sabe como o UFC conduzirá o assunto, mas existe um código de conduta previsto nos contratos de seus lutadores que dá à organização o direito de rescisão em caso de envolvimento dos atletas em brigas. Após o ocorrido, Miller teria sido visto bêbado em um bar, com ferimentos no rosto em consequência da briga.

A atitude de Jason Miller, por sua vez, feriu as leis do estado da Califórnia sobre insultar terceiros. A reação de Uriah Hall não deve ser levada a julgamento, por ter sido motivada por insultos racistas direcionados a ele. Miller vem se envolvendo em diversas situações problemáticas, como violência doméstica e ser preso nu em uma igreja após defecar no seu interior. A organização do evento no qual os lutadores estavam a convite informou que Miller nunca mais poderá retornar lá.

The irony that Jason “Mayhem” Miller found his fame as the host of a show about stopping bullies, continues to grow. It was only a month ago that Miller was in the headlines repeatedly for domestic violence. This time around Miller has been said to have picked a fight with TUF runner-up Uriah Hall during BAMMA USA: Bad Beat this weekend. Multiple witnesses close to the scuffle have said that Miller continuously badgered Hall, calling him a “bitch ass nigga.”

Here’s the Clinch Reports front row reporting of the events that took place.

“While awaitng the main event, several fighters and celebs were called into the cage for a photo op with Brett,” said Clinch Report’s Jonathan King. “I was by the back with the Commission. Mayhem and Uriah were surrounded by a scrum, and it looked like good hearted shit talking, but it turned nasty quick!

“More security rushed in to separate but by now there was a bunch of people around with iPhones out, so basically a few journalists and a few security guards tried to separate them.

“When more help arrived, Mayhem started leaning in, kind of like flinching with his head, and kept repeating

“You’re a Bitch Ass Nigga!”

at least six times, each time with added taunting. When he leaned in for a 7th, Hall hit him with a right hand! Didn’t catch him flush, but left a noticeable welt.

“I then with Jose from Bamma walked Uriah to the elevator, where he was still looking for Mayhem. He was heated and rightfully so! Security and Jackie Denkin were able to calm Uriah down before he left. When we left Mayhem was at the bar, drunk, spilling his beer. Surrounded by marks. It was a very sad day, Disgusting behavior by Mayhem, I hope Uriah doesn’t get in trouble. Please if you do write about this, remember Uriah was trying to be calm, and there was no where to go, he had a wall of people behind him.

“He was wrong for punching him, but Mayhem was acting aggressive.

“I was on Uriah Hall’s left shoulder the entire time. There is no mistaking the words, im sure it will be on youtube! But not by me. Disgusting!”

Shortly after, Miller would spout his usual cryptic tweets.
