Postado 8/11/2012 às 00:53 11/8, 2012 A lightweight bout between rising contenders T.J. Grant (19-5 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Matt Wiman (15-6 MMA, 9-4 UFC) is the latest addition to January's quickly filling UFC on FOX 6 card. Officials today announced the fight. UFC on FOX 6, the UFC's first network-televised event of 2013, takes place Jan. 26 at United Center in Chicago. The main card, including a title fight between featherweight champion Demetrious Johnson and challenger John Dodson, airs on FOX, and FUEL TV carries the prelims. It's not clear, though, where Grant vs. Wiman will be placed on the lineup. Grant recently picked up his third straight UFC win with a "Fight of the Night" decision victory over Evan Dunham at UFC 152. The other wins, which came over Shane Roller and Carlo Prater, both came after a drop down from welterweight. The Canadian submission specialist now makes his 10th UFC appearance. He takes on Wiman, who's also quietly racked up a number of UFC appearances. In his 14th UFC fight, "The Ultimate Fighter 5" alum looks to build off an emotional "Submission of the Night" win over Paul Sass at UFC on FUEL TV 5. It marked his fifth win in his past six fights; the lone defeat came to Dennis Siver via close decision.
